In Monday's league contest, the visiting Lockport Porters basketball team scored a big 69-42 win over the Sandburg Eagles.

The Porters (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Stevenson was trounced by Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 47-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban contest, on Friday, December 20. Sandburg will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 66-57 non-league win over Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL).
