Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport knocks off Sandburg

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lockport Porters basketball team scored a good 50-34 win over the Sandburg Eagles.
The Porters (19-9) will now prepare for their contest against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts come into the SouthWest Suburban contest with a 11-16 record. In their last contest, Andrew defeated Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL), 65-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Sandburg will attempt to better on its 15-14 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 14-11 record after their 64-51 league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
