In Monday's non-league contest, the host William Byrd Terriers basketball team scored a big 51-26 triumph over the Christiansburg Blue Demons.
The Terriers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Blue Demons battle the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Christiansburg will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
