New Mexico High School Basketball - Escalante trounced by Pecos

December 17, 2022: Pecos, NM 87552

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Pecos Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 70-40 triumph over the Escalante Lobos.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Pecos will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 83-12 non-league win over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

With the defeat, Escalante moves to 2-4 on the year. The Lobos host Estancia (Estancia, NM) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Monday, December 19. The Bears enter the match with a record of 2-3. Estancia lost 65-50 in their recent non-league match against Pecos (Pecos, NM)
