The McDonell Central Macks basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Osseo-Fairchild Thunder to 59 in the Macks league triumph on Saturday.

The Macks now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flambeau for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. McDonell Central will battle a Falcons team coming off a 72-56 league win over Lake Holcombe (Holcombe, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.

The Thunder (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehall (Whitehall, WI). The Norse enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Whitehall ran past Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI), 73-61, in a league contest.
