The Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) basketball felled the visiting Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX), 54-38 in Saturday's league test.
The Bulldogs (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Center (Center, TX). The Roughriders go into the 4A Region III District 17 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Center was beaten by Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 59-51, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Spring Hill for a 4A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, December 20. Carthage will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 36-32 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.
