The Bertie Falcons basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hertford County Bears to 49 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gates County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Bertie will battle a Red Barons team coming off a 77-37 non-league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 3-3.
The Bears (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Gates County was nudged by Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC), 53-35, in a league contest.
