Next, the Cougars confront the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Ventura will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Taft (Woodland Hills, CA).

The Spartans now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lennox Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. Rio Mesa will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 league win over New Roads (Santa Monica, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
