Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN), 59-56 in a league match.

With the victory, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 2-2. Ada-Borup/Norman County West won 66-64 in their recent non-league match against Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN)

The Chargers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host PACT Charter for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Brandon/Evansville will face a Panthers squad coming off a 71-41 league win over North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
