The Stormin' Pointers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Solon (Solon, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Solon dropped by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 54-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Marion Wolves (Marion, IA) in a WAMAC - West challenge, on Friday, December 20. Independence will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 63-56 non-league win over Grinnell (Grinnell, IA).
