In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Denison Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 60-52 win over the McKinney North Bulldogs.

The Yellow Jackets (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Cardinals come into the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Melissa defeated Anna (Anna, TX), 59-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 contest, on Friday, December 20. McKinney North will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Leopards come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 52-51 league loss to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX).
