In Tuesday's league contest, the host Marshall County Marshals basketball team scored a big 73-47 win over the Murray Tigers.
The Marshals (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Paducah Tilghman was trounced by Dyett (Chicago, IL), 80-66, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY) in a District 4 contest, on Friday, December 20. Murray will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 81-60 non-league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY).
