In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Marshall County Marshals basketball team scored a big 74-48 triumph over the Murray Tigers.
The Marshals (23-0) will now prepare for their contest against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers go into the District 4 contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Calloway County smashed Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY), 67-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Christian Fellowship Eagles (Benton, KY) in a District 4 contest, on Friday, February 7. Murray will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 77-66 non-league win over Trigg County (Cadiz, KY).
