The Thurston Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Melvindale Cardinals to 38 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Romulus for a Western Wayne game on Thursday, December 19. Thurston will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-51 league win over Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
