The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) and the host South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), observed Mt. Vernon-Enola's basketball team knock off South Side by a score of 76-62.

The Warhawks (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Hornet encounter the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. South Side will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
