In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Peabody Golden Tide basketball team scored a good 69-56 triumph over the Obion County Rebels.
The Golden Tide (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield (Greenfield, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Greenfield topped Stewart County (Dover, TN), 65-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels confront the Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Obion County will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 63-54 non-league win over Belmont (Belmont, MS).
