Georgia High School Basketball - Peach County toppled by Taylor County

Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA), 61-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Taylor County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Vikings host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Knights enter the match with a record of 7-1. Upson-Lee won 72-67 in their recent league match against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)

The Trojans now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maclay for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Peach County will face a Marauders squad coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Chiles (Tallahassee, FL). The Marauders record now stands at 1-6.
