Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County holds off Peach County

December 7, 2024: Butler, GA 31006

The Taylor County Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Peach County Trojans to 59 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Schley County for a A D2 Region 6 game on Friday, December 13.

With the loss, Peach County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Houston County (Warner Robins, GA) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Bears go into the game with a record of 6-3. Houston County lost 63-58 in their recent non-league game against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA)
