In Tuesday's league test, the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) basketball squad defeated the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), by a final score of 67-54.

Next, the Lightning clash with the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 test, on Friday, December 20. Eastview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Irish come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 75-60 non-league win over East Ridge (Woodbury, MN).

The Sabers (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers come into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Prior Lake overcame Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 61-52, in a non-league test.
