In Tuesday's league contest, the host Eastview Lightning basketball team scored a big 71-24 win over the Shakopee Sabers.
The Lightning (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Mahtomedi was trounced by DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), 84-65, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sabers battle the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Shakopee will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record.
