Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), 55-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Lake Region advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Lakers travel to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to face the Panthers in a B South match on Saturday, December 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-1. Medomak Valley won 52-51 in their recent non-league match against Mount View (Thorndike, ME)

The Clippers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waynflete for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Yarmouth will face a Flyers squad coming off a 48-15 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 1-2.
