In Monday's league match, the visiting Union Redhawks basketball team scored a decisive 78-42 triumph over the Enid Plainsmen.
In their next game, the Redhawks meet the Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 4. Union will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.
With the defeat, Enid moves to 2-4 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Grant (Oklahoma City, OK) to meet the Generals in a 6A District 3 match on Tuesday, December 19. The Generals enter the match with a record of 0-8.
