The Lions enter the game with a record of 3-0. Spring Grove won 54-17 in their recent league game against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN)

With the defeat, Schaeffer Academy moves to 1-6 on the year. The Lions host Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN) to face the Superlarks in a A Section 1 game on Friday, January 5. The Superlarks enter the game with a record of 0-5.
