In Thursday's league outing, the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Glenville-Emmons Wolverines (Glenville, MN), by a count of 68-54.

The Lions (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN). The Athletics go into the A Section 1 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Lyle/Pacelli was topped by Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN), 84-66, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Spring Grove for a A Section 1 outing on Friday, February 2. Glenville-Emmons will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 74-34 league win over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Lions record now stands at 16-1.
