The Long Beach Bearcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils to 56 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bearcats now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bay for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Blue Devils (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Poplarville was defeated by Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 76-31, in a non-league contest.
