Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 74-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Huskies host Crest (Shelby, NC) to face the Chargers in a match on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuart W. Cramer for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. North Gaston will face a Storm squad coming off a 56-47 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Storm record now stands at 7-2.
