In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Eufaula Ironheads basketball team scored a good 59-50 win over the Checotah Wildcats.
The Ironheads (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) in a NOAA contest, on Tuesday, January 13. Checotah will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
