The Pope Greyhounds basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Alpharetta Raiders to 41 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennesaw Mountain for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Pope will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.

The Raiders (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Sprayberry ran past Woodstock (Woodstock, GA), 65-51, in a non-league contest.
