Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Curley knocked off by St. Mary's

The St. Mary's Saints basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Archbishop Curley Friars to 53 in the Saints league triumph on Monday.
The Saints now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Creek for a MIAA B contest on Wednesday, December 21. St. Mary's will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-61 non-league loss to Meade (Fort Meade, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
The Friars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD). The Yellowjackets enter the MIAA B contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Chapelgate Christian Academy ran past Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD), 65-55, in a league contest.
