Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Curley nudges St. Mary's

In Wednesday's league outing, the Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) basketball squad edged the host St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD), by a count of 48-45.
The Friars (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD). The Yellowjackets go into the MIAA B outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, Chapelgate Christian Academy held off Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD), 56-52, in a league outing.
The Saints now hold a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Indian Creek for a MIAA B outing on Friday, February 3. St. Mary's will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 47-46 league loss to Severn School (Severna Park, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 12-15.
