Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA), 56-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Okoboji upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Siouxland bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Boyden-Hull lost 76-52 in their recent league bout against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Tuesday, December 20. George-Little Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
