In Monday's league match, the visiting St. Augustine Prep Hermits basketball team scored a good 70-54 triumph over the Middle Township Panthers.
In their next game, the Hermits meet the Eastside Tigers (Camden, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Augustine Prep will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
With the defeat, Middle Township moves to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers host Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 21. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 2-0. Hammonton won 54-41 in their recent league match against Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ)
