The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), 52-37 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Poolesville notched a victory over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD), 44-22, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rockville for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 21. Kennedy will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 36-29 non-league win over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.
