Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), 40-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Plum upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-2. West Allegheny won 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Franklin Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
