With the victory, Grandfalls-Royalty upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Iraan (Iraan, TX) to play the Braves in a 1A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, December 22. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 13-2. Iraan won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Marathon (Marathon, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX) in a 1A Region II District 10 bout, on Thursday, December 21. Comstock will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 53-24 non-league loss to Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX).
