The Houlton Shiretowners basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Fort Fairfield Tigers to 54 in the Shiretowners non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Shiretowners now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Town for a B North contest on Thursday, December 21. Houlton will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 66-58 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-0.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Central Aroostook was defeated by Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 51-38, in a non-league contest.
