In Tuesday's league outing, the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX), by a count of 42-31.

The Cardinals (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Leopards go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, La Grange was dropped by Taylor (Taylor, TX), 68-45, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Cobras play the Boling Bulldogs (Boling, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Industrial will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
