Unity Eagles (Balsam Lake, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Shell Lake Lakers (Shell Lake, WI), 51-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Unity upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Siren (Siren, WI) to play the Dragons in a Lakeland - West bout on Thursday, December 21. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Siren won 67-60 in their recent league bout against Frederic (Frederic, WI)
Next up, the Lakers play the Northwood Evergreens (Minong, WI) in a Lakeland - West bout, on Thursday, December 21. Shell Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Evergreens come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 52-23 league loss to Grantsburg (Grantsburg, WI).
