Alabama High School Basketball - Calera overwhelms West Blocton

The Calera Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting West Blocton Tigers to 24 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Brookwood for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.
With the loss, West Blocton falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bibb County (Centreville, AL) to confront the Choctaws in a 4A Area 6 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Choctaws go into the game with a record of 2-5.
