North Carolina High School Basketball - Manteo succumbs to First Flight

December 19, 2024: Manteo, NC 27954

The First Flight Nighthawks defeated the host Manteo Redskins basketball squad by a final score of 64-51 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 27. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Sabres come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 52-49 league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC).

The Redskins (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights come into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 6-2 record.
