The Winslow Black Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies to 37 in the Black Raiders league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Raiders now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leavitt for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Winslow will play a Hornets team coming off a 42-40 non-league loss to Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Maine Central Institute falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to play the Black Bears in a B North game on Saturday, December 21. The Black Bears go into the game with a record of 3-2. Maranacook won 80-29 in their recent non-league contest against Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME)
