The Rahway Indians basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting New Providence Pioneers to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Rahway will confront a Raiders team coming off a 58-38 non-league win over Summit (Summit, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, New Providence falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Hillside (Hillside, NJ) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Comets go into the game with a record of 1-1. Hillside lost 58-48 in their recent non-league game against South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ)
