North Carolina High School Basketball - South Granville toppled by Vance County

December 19, 2024: Henderson, NC 27537

Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC), 47-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Vance County advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Vipers host Warren County (Warrenton, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-4. Warren County lost 54-36 in their recent non-league match against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)

The Vikings now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Durham for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. South Granville will face a Knights squad coming off a 43-28 non-league loss to Discovery Charter School (Bahama, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
