North Carolina High School Basketball - Vance County toppled by South Granville

South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 43-35 in a league match.

With the victory, South Granville upgrades its record to 9-15 on the year. The Vikings travel to Carrboro (Carrboro, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes match on Tuesday, February 18. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 16-7. Carrboro lost 74-35 in their recent league match against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC)

The Vipers now sport a 18-7 record.
