In Friday's league outing, the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), by a margin of 59-24.

The Golden Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Harlem smashed Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL), 58-54, in a league outing.

The Pioneers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Quincy for a Western Big 6 outing on Tuesday, December 6. Alleman will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-50 league win over East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-0.
