The Avery Bulldogs basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Bloomburg Wildcats to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harleton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Avery will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Lions enter the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Saltillo triumphed over Como-Pickton (Como, TX), 46-31, in a non-league contest.
