Texas High School Basketball - Lamesa thwarts Fort Stockton

The Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX), 52-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tornadoes (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Perryton (Perryton, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Perryton notched a victory over Pecos (Pecos, TX), 68-38, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Deal for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Fort Stockton will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
