The Geneseo Maple Leafs basketball team (Geneseo, IL), was overwhelmed 99-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL)

The Rocks now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hempstead for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Rock Island will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 69-59 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.

The Maple Leafs (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons come into the Western Big 6 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Moline trounced Urbana (Urbana, IL), 86-32, in a non-league battle.
