King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX), 53-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, King upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Highlands (San Antonio, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Highlands lost 74-63 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Warriors play the John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Santa Rosa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Centurions go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 72-30 non-league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX).
