Louisiana High School Basketball - South Plaquemines nudges Phoenix

In Friday's non-league outing, the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA), by a margin of 55-52.

The Hurricanes (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record.

The Spartans now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Belle Chasse for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 3. Phoenix will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 49-44 non-league win over South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
